The educational mission of the parish is
to transmit the faith to the next generation. Our message is infused with a
conviction regarding the sacred character of all reality, the dignity of every
human person, the mutually informing dynamic between faith and reason, and the
responsibility to care for those who are suffering most in our world. This
mission takes several forms:
Academy of Our Lady School: Sandra Prez
(847) 623-4110
Built upon Catholic values, the Academy of Our Lady guarantees the spiritual and academic development of our Pre-K through 8th grade students by fostering academic excellence, spiritual formation and social responsibility.
Academia de Nuestra Señora \ Academy of Our Lady
Religious Education Program: José
Coronel (847) 623-2655
The purpose of this program is to assist the parents
whose children do not go to Catholic school to transmit a solid formation in
the faith. We currently have 940 children enrolled in our program. Eighty
catechists make this program possible.
Youth Sacramental Program: María Moreno
(847) 623-2655
This program is designed to prepare children and youth
for the reception of the sacraments of Eucharist and Confirmation. By means of
classes and dialogue, the students continue their journey with God.
Parents’ Faith Formation Program: José
Coronel (847) 623-2655
The parents whose children participate in the
Religious Education Program are themselves invited to attend special sessions
that are designed specifically for them so that they too can deepen their
understanding and appreciation of the faith.
Formation Program for Catechists: Armida
Gómez (847) 623-2655
Our parish hosts the Archdiocesan “Fostering Faith
Institute” that provides potential catechists with the necessary theological
and pedagogical tools for exercising this important ministry.
SPRED (Religious Education for the
Developmentally Challenged) (847) 623-2655
The goal of SPRED is to provide the best possible
context for the developmentally challenged members of our community so that
they can be fully integrated into the life of the parish.
