Work of Mercy related to Ministry: Feed the Poor

Ministry Mission Statement:

“To welcome and to assist all of our brothers and sisters who are unable to meet their daily living need of food, clothing, and shelter, while focusing on programs to help them become self-sufficient and to live in society with dignity, independence and pride as productive members.”

What the ministry does:

Serves meals every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from   5:30-6:30 pm at The Center, 914  8^th Street, Waukegan.

To whom the Ministry serves:

Outreach – Anyone who comes to our doors for a free meal;  Also the residents of the PADS Homeless Shelter located in the same building.

Compassion, Service, Culinary skills

Monthly service:

Volunteers can choose to work from 1 – 5 hours on                Wednesday and Thursday, and from 1 – 3 hours on Friday and Saturday.
