Sacramental Life

The sacraments are outward signs of the transformative presence and activity of God in our lives. Over time, the church came to celebrate this divine activity in primarily seven ways (baptism, communion, confirmation, reconciliation, healing, marriage, priesthood), each corresponding to ways in which Christ himself was a sacrament of God to others. In reality, all of life is sacramental insofar as God’s healing and empowering love pervades everything we are and do. The members of our parish who serve in this capacity help us all to live prayerful and grateful lives.  The work of this commission is supported and guided by Linda Gonzalez. 847-623-2655.
